I first need to say, why Leo? I really enjoyed this story and was surprised because I really never cared very much for Buffy. The book follows Nina, a young girl studying to be a medic, while her twin sister Artemis wants to be a watcher. Nina always believed that she was the weaker sister and that her mother loved Artemis more. So she is plagued with that until one day she discovers that she has more power than she ever dreamed. Leo, a young watcher and Nina's crush, comes back to the castle to train Nina and that is when everything starts to happen. I do not want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I do recommend it even to those who really didn't fangirl Buffy.
