The Black Cat by Edgar Allan Poe
This is a creepy short story about a man and his relationship with alcohol and how it affects his relationship with his pet cat. This is one of those stories that is fun to read as well as listen to in an audio book. I have heard some really spooky versions through the years. I love Poe's writing as I am sure most do. My bedroom has a Poe/Hogwarts theme so I enjoy reading his work year round but especially during October and Halloween!
