Dear Martin by Nic Stone
I am going to be honest to say that I usually do not read books with such a serious topic. I get real emotional and so I mostly like to read light hearted books but I came across this book and decided I really should give it a read and I am so glad I did. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with the author's direction in this story and it was not a finger pointing, blaming book but an amazing story about how racism can come between friends, black and white. I highly recommend this book to everyone and don't forget to bring the tissues.
