The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Saenz
This book is beautifully written about families regardless of birth and being there for one another thru thick and thin. I feel as though this story captures the way families are quilted together and the diversities within. This follows the main character Sal, his friends Sam & Fito, his Father who is gay and their families. The story is heart touching and bring out tears but in the deaths, it brings lives together. The story is about growing up, coming of age, mourning & loss, finding your strengths, accepting who you are and opening yourself up to others. I would highly recommend this to everyone.
