Stars 5/5
Daughter of The Burning City by Amanda Foody
I very much enjoyed this book. I thought the story was very creative and I just loved the author's imagination when it came to the city and the characters. The story follows the young Sorina, who is an Illusion Worker which is very rare, and her family that she created for her Freak Show in the traveling city circus of Gomorrah. One day, she finds one of her illusions dead and so the hunt begins to find out who is targeting her family. This book is a magical journey that I very much enjoyed. I feel this book is definitely worth recommending to everyone and it will always have a place on my shelf.
