When The Lights Go Out by Mary Kubica

This book was definitely unique and the ending was an OMG surprise which I think is very creative. The story follows Jessie, a young girl who's mother is dying of cancer and how she is dealing with the grief of that and knowing she will be alone after she dies. I don't want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I have to say that I know how it feels to go without sleep and the terrors it does to the mind and body. It is not good. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it.
