Monster Blood by R. L. Stine
This is the 3rd book in the Goosebumps series and I loved this one. It follows Evan and his dog Trigger as they must go and stay with his great aunt Kathryn which he doesn't like because she is a bit scary. He does meet a friend, Andy and one day they go to the old toy store in town and find a can of Monster Blood. I do not want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but let me just say that things aren't always as they seem. I highly recommend this book as well as the series for kids of all ages. They are adventurous and fun with a bit of creepy!
