Stay Out Of The Basement (Goosebumps bk 2) by R. L. Stine
This is the second book in the Goosebumps series and I have to say this is the book I most remember through the years. It is definitely creepy and that ending is amazing for all ages. The story follows brother and sister, Casey and Margaret and their mad scientist father that is doing something mysterious in the basement. I am not going to spoil the story but I have to say that I highly recommend this book as well as the series this Halloween season.
