WOW! I loved this book. It definitely made it to my 2019 Favorites List. This is a love story of all-time love stories! The book follows Ann, a writer and story teller, who grows up listening to magical tales told to her by her grandfather. After his death, Ann goes to Ireland to release his ashes and is pulled back in time to 1921 Ireland, where her grandfather is only six and he swears that she is his mother. I don't want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I will say that I loved the historical aspects of Ireland's struggles for independence and the ending was breath taking. I highly recommend it.
