This is such an amazing book all about friendships you never thought possible. The story follows four young girls. Spider, who with her grandmother, decides to rent out three rooms to girls for a month while at their summer cabin. Britta, a chatty girl from Florida, talks Meredith, the school bookworm, into going on this month long retreat to relax. Kate, a rich girl, also goes to the cabin to get away from her hometown due to some criminal accusations made against her father. Four girls with totally different backgrounds and a grandmother who finally discloses her long kept secret. I don't want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I highly recommend it. I really loved it!
