The Haunting Of Maddy Clare by Simone St. James
This is a very haunting tale and I just loved it. The story follows Sarah, a young woman that was out of work and the temporary service she uses sets up a meeting with Alistair Gellis, a rich gentleman home from the War that is fascinated with ghosts. Sarah takes the job and travels with Alistair to the house of Mrs. Clare. Mrs. Clare will only allow a female to go into the Barn to talk with the ghost of Maddy Clare and that is when things get spooky. I don't want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I highly recommend it. It definitely is a wonderful Autumn/Halloween read.
