Black Acres: The Complete Collection by Ambrose Ibsen
WoW! What a creepy story! I just loved it! If you are into haunted houses than this is the book for you. The story follows a married couple, Kim and Julian, and how they stumble across this old fixer-upper house. It is well in their price range and are excited to move in and get out of the city life. Kim is the first to sense that something is not right but can't get her husband to see. He is in love with the house. I am not going into the story more as to not spoil it but I highly recommend it and it would be an awesome Halloween/Autumn read.
