The Queen Of The Tearling by Erika Johansen
WoW! What a creative and unique story! I really loved it. The book follows Princess Kelsea who was raised far from her kingdom in a place secluded for her safety. At the age of nineteen, the Queen's Guard comes to escort her to Tearling to take her place as Queen. During the long journey to the castle, Princess Kelsea finds that not everyone wants her to return and would do anything to find her and have her killed. I do not want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I highly recommend it. It took me forever to finally pick up this book and I seriously wonder why. I will be continuing on with the series.
