I am going to be honest and say that I was very skeptical about reading this book but I really enjoyed it. I loved all the interesting references thrown out randomly, it kept the story always on the edge that I was always wondering which way it would go. The book follows Noah and his best friend Walt aka Swing and their day to day life of love interests, baseball, jazz and the dairy queen. I don't want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I will say that I loved it set in verse but the ending had me all torn up. I highly recommend this book.
