The Hundred And One Dalmatians by Dodie Smith
This is not the first time I have read this book but I wanted to do a re-read because I loved it as a child and wanted to re-visit this world. I am sure everyone knows the story but if not... The book follows Missis and Pongo, dalmatian dogs that are expecting puppies. After the puppies are born, the evil Cruella de Vil has them stolen along with dozens of other puppies to have them killed for their hide. She needs a new fur coat. Missis and Pongo are on the hunt to find the pups with the help of all the dogs from the Starlight Barking. I highly recommend this book to kids of all ages.
