Little Pretty Things by Lori Rader-Day
I think everyone that has ever went to high school can relate to this book and the characters in it. The story follows Juliet, a young woman that grew up in a small town and never left. Juliet was not the most popular in school and never the best but her best friend, Madeleine, was always number one. Years after high school, Madeleine comes back to town. Juliet was shocked to see her back but was not shocked to see that she was successful and wearing the biggest diamond Juliet has ever saw. The next day, Juliet finds Madeleine hanging from the railing of the hotel and Juliet is the number one suspect. This is a really fun and easy read mystery that I definitely recommend.
