WoW! You talk about twisted endings! This book has the best! I really enjoyed this book! The story follows different women in the town of Sanctuary. Sara, the town witch and Abigail, the town crier and instigator of madness. This is just like the Witch Trials in Salem just a modern day version. Abigail's son dies in an accident but she can not come to grips with his death especially when rumors come out that Sara's daughter Harper killed him with magic even though Harper never received the gift of magic and is not a witch. I don't want to go into this story more as to not spoil it but OMG this is a Must Read especially for Autumn/Halloween reads.
