The Portal (Tangled In Time #1) by Kathryn Lasky
Oh how I just loved this book and can not wait for the next! The story follows Rose, a young girl that had to go and live with her Grandmother after her Mother died in a car crash. Rose never knew her Father but has a locket that was given to her by her Mother that has a picture of a man that Rose believes could be her Father but he is dressed in old fashion attire. One day as Rose is walking through the garden, she stumbles back in time. I do not want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I highly recommend it to everyone!
