The Lost Girl by Anne Ursu
As a mother of identical twin girls, I knew I would just love this book and I did. The story follows Lark and Iris, identical twin sisters that have never had to be apart. They soon find out that their parents have decided that their fifth grade will be the first year they are separated into different classes and they are not happy about it. This is a book about finding yourself, letting go of ties and stepping out of the shadow of a sibling. I don't want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I highly recommend it.
