Little House in The Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder
I am going to be honest when I say that I enjoyed this book more so as an adult than I did when I read it as a child. I understand more what the author was describing and loved hearing how things were done back then. To me, this story could even be considered a guide/recipe book for ages long since past. Granted from time to time, I was picturing the cast of the tv show but I loved that show as well as a child. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to take a peek into to a life long ago.
