Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Every time I read this book, it makes me think of the similarities to Charlotte Bronte's life. All the tragedies, love, holding on to a family and just stumbling through life. This is a dark romance for me. I don't want to give away the story line too much but I feel like even when the good came about in the story it was always clouded with pain and a certain fogginess. I truly love this book and I must give it 5 stars because not only is it a true work of brilliant artistry but to know this story came out of the author's real life horrors. I would recommend this to everyone.
