Well I finally got to take the pic of the rest of the jewelry I made (minus a pair of earrings that I sent to my sister for her birthday). I have an order for ankle bracelets so I think I will be working on them later. HuggZ

Today, I spent a big part of the day creating some new jewelry pieces. The pic shows 4 of the bracelets that I did with some fun beads that I had. I also created another bracelet (not shown) and 5 pairs of earrings (not shown). It got late and the light in my room stinks so I will wait til tomorrow to take pics of those. It has been awhile since I created jewelry and I really do not know why I quit. I have so much fun creating new crazy bracelets LOL! I get to sewing big projects and my jewelry making goes on the back burner, I guess. But today, I had loads of fun creating again. My allergies are giving me heck the past few days and this headache seems to love my head. So, I really didn't sleep well last night. I think I may be coming down with something though because tonight I feel feverish and that is never good. Summer colds are the worst! My parents are supposed to come over tomorrow which will be a nice visit. My Mom is bringing me some honey and jam she made even though she knows I am going to be canning some myself LOL! That is just my Mom! Gotta love her! Yesterday, I got a bunch of new free books off Amazon... now just to find the time to read them LOL! Not enough hours in the day but they are on my Kindle so maybe one day I will find my way to them. I do hope I get better sleep tonight than I did last night! My Sister is sending her bead collection my way because she has found other hobbies to take up her time so that will be really nice for me. It will be like Christmas morning YAY! I am also watching a few auctions on ebay for some cute beads so I will let you know what I pick up there. Take care everyone and have a wonderful night! HuggZ

Christmas In July!

Today is exactly 5 months til Christmas YAY! I did get to watch a few little holiday shows off Netflix and I tried to get some of my gift list ready of all the stuff I need to get so I can start crafting gifts. I do admit, I am a little behind this year. I usually try to start in June but have been busy with stuff lately. I figured I am going to do some jewelry pieces for everyone and gift cards. I may do a quilt or two for my parents and my grandson but who knows. We shall see what time allows. I have started picking up little tid bits here and there for my grandson from Santa. I try to at least buy one or two items a week for that bag, so my daughter isn't rushing so much. My Mom told me today that the blackberries are ready for harvest now YAY! She already picked 12 quarts so far and is canning her jam tomorrow. I will have to get over there soon to help pick LOL! I am also going to be cleaning and filtering some beeswax next week. I think I am going to get a few pounds this time around so far which is good because I need 4 oz to make my wound ointment. I am starting to run very low now. It lasts up to a year so I figure two batches should see me through til next year's harvest. My headache is finally going away a bit. It has plagued me all day. I think it is my allergies again. Ohio sucks when it comes to allergies. Have a wonderful night! HuggZ

This is one of the top places I have on my bucket list of places I really want to see! I do not know what the fascination is with this place but I have wanted to tour it since I was young. Maybe because I believe if anywhere in the world, this place would be haunted. I am this really touchy feely person and would love to just once touch the cell doors. I know that sounds weird but I just have to do it LOL! I have been to San Francisco but at that time I didn't have the time to tour =( One day I will though! A friend of the family just returned from Cali and brought my sister back some goodies of Alcatraz. At first, I admit I was a bit jealous but then I found out, he never got to tour the prison. He just bought the souvenirs in the city. So all is good with me LOL I don't need souvenirs, I want the experience of touching the walls and seeing it for myself. Memories are enough for me LOL! So one day in the near future, I hope, me and you Alcatraz have a date! HuggZ

Stormy!

Been very stormy here! We definitely needed it because I was starting to think I lived in an oven. The humidity is horrible in Ohio. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy LOL! I hope it dries up soon though because my grass is getting tall now. I really wouldn't mind it because I love nature naturally but where I am at they frown upon anything above an inch. Tomorrow I really have to clean and go through my crafting stuff for Autumn. I have been so busy with harvesting honey that I have not had much time to take inventory. Usually by this time, I have a list made of all the items I will need for my holiday crafts by now. But of course, I am delayed this year =(  Have a wonderful night! HuggZ

My First Post!

Well this is my first post on this blog but I am not new to blogging on my gaming character's blogs. I wanted to do a more personal blog for myself about my life and what kinds of things I get into during my crazy adventures. I will add most of my pics to my facebook but here I will add more of my thoughts and detailed descriptions of the craziness in my life LOL! This is Odin, my growing puppy! I adopted him from a friend off facebook back in April and he is growing everyday! He is so sweet and friendly. He loves everyone! He is 7 months old and has brought lots of happiness and poop to my life LOL! HuggZ
