The Bear and The Nightingale by Katherine Arden
| I love anything with Jack Frost and loved this magical Russian fairy tale rendition. I don't want to say anything to spoil the story but I am hoping for a love interest in the second book. I enjoyed how the book allowed the reader to grow up with the main characters. I feel closer to them that way. I will say that this book did make me hungry with them hungry most of the time but also the feasts, honey mead and warm breads. I can not wait for the next book. I am really wanting to continue on with Vasya's journey and hope to hear more about Morozko. I would recommend this book. |
