The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe
I have always enjoyed Edgar Allan Poe's work. This story, like most of his work, is hauntingly brilliant. How the mind controls and plays tricks. Is it real or just in the mind? A story about a man needing to escape the eye of an elderly man, his actions and the plague that infected his mind as a result. A wonderful short story that I would recommend to everyone who loves the macabre.
