Revival by Tom Seely & Mike Norton

I love zombies and loved the illustrations in this book. Wisconsin is being quarantined due to Revivers, people who have died and came back to life. Some are normal and some are no way normal. Lots of crazy violence and gore which I love. This is the first book in a series of graphic novels. I think the scariest parts of this were the religious nut cases and makes me think about how the world would be if this really did happen and how the religious people would react. I would recommend this to anyone who loves horror, gore, violence, blood, zombies and graphic novels!

Witchtown by Cory Putman Oakes

(I read the advanced reader copy at the request of the author for a honest review. Book releases July 18, 2017) Oh, what a fun book to read! I just love a witchy story and this one was very unique. I loved the little map in the front of the book but I am a little pig when it comes to wanting to know all the details about each and every area in the world. The town sounded amazing and magical and I really hope this won't be the last I hear of Witchtown. I will be buying a hard copy of this book when it comes out. I really enjoyed it so much! I will recommend this to everyone!

Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli

What a beautiful book and a beautiful Star! I just loved this book. I enjoyed the ups and downs it brought and all the emotions that I felt reading it. Stargirl was a powerful character. A girl with her own thoughts, logic and happiness. I am so excited to read the second book so I don't want to make hasty decisions but I must say that Leo was kinda a let down, not only to me as a reader but to Stargirl as a friend. I am going into the next book blind, not knowing what it is about, maybe Leo will be stronger the next time around. I will recommend this book to everyone! It was a wonderful read!

At The Edge Of The Universe by Shaun David Hutchinson

This story is about a boy named Ozzie that was in love with a boy named Tommy since they were in the 2nd grade. One day, Tommy vanishes from the world and no one remembers him but Ozzie. I don't want to go into too much about this book because I do not want to spoil it in anyway. Let me just say that you will be in the dark until the last few pages! Oh, how I loved not knowing and trying to guess, throughout the whole book, what the heck was going on. It made the story so worth reading! I really loved it. I loved "We are the Ants" by Shaun David Hutchinson so I knew I would love this book as well. I recommend it to everyone!

I have rewrote this review a few times trying to get my feelings across without spoiling the book so here it goes... The main character, Autumn, finds herself locked inside a library over the weekend with a boy from her school, Dax, that has a horrible reputation. Autumn was the stereotypical snobby, shallow and self absorbed high school girl. Dax was the quiet, reader guy that came from a dysfunctional family that everyone gossiped about. The story had a few twists and turns that I never saw coming and I enjoyed it as I do all of the Kasie West books I have read. I would recommend this book to everyone! Fun Read!

Goodbye Days by Jeff Zentner

**SPOILER ALERT**

I have been waiting to read this book forever and finally I did! This book is full of emotion so make note of that before you sit and read it (hint - bring tissues). The different emotions in this story is gripping and even upsetting. I don't want to spoil the story but the adults and their behavior in this book made me so mad that I wanted to scream. The story is about a boy, Carver, that sends his friends a text message to find out where they were and as a result they were all killed in a car crash answering the text message and how the community and the families dealt with the ordeal. I love how the author included other characters in the story that went through deaths as a young boy and how they dealt with it because at the end of the book I felt ok. Like I knew how the rest of Carver's life would be. I would recommend this to everyone. I loved the story.
