House Of Salt And Sorrows by Erin A. Craig

WoW! What a wonderful haunting tale. I just loved it. The story follows Annaleigh, one of the twelve sisters of Highmoor Manor. Rumor says that the family is cursed and always in a state of mourning one after another who dies. The book holds a magical mystery to be solved, beautiful gowns and glittering balls to dance and ghosts plaguing the manor. I don't want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I will say that this is a chilling book to read during the Autumn/Halloween season. I highly recommend it.

Girl In The Rearview Mirror by Kelsey Rae Dimberg

I honestly liked this story. It was unique and creative. I even found myself wondering what happened next.  The story follows Finn, a young lady hired by a wealthy and political family, to be the nanny of their only daughter. You will be amazed by what lengths some people will go to, to further themselves and prevent a scandal. I don't want to go into the book more as to not spoil it but I do recommend it.

The Tale Of Mr. Tod by Beatrix Potter

This is not the first time I have read the Beatrix Potter books but I found this one and had to re-read it. I just love these books. This is the 14th book in the series. This story is about a bunny-napping and how they were going to be turned into meat pies but of course, Benjamin and Peter come to save the day. I just loved this book as well as the series.

The Murder List by Hank Phillippi Ryan

WOW! This is one twisty mystery that I really loved. Amazingly creative and unique. The story follows Rachel North, a woman who is studying law and is married to a top defensive attorney in the city. Rachel is chosen to work as an intern for the county prosecutor's office in what she sees as a perfect way to learn their strategies to help her become a star defense attorney that is until she finds out that the case they will be working on is one from her past. I do not want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I highly recommend it.

The Lying Game by Ruth Ware

I really enjoyed this creative and unique twisty tale of mystery. I need to be honest and say that I would of gave this five stars but I think all the breastfeeding chit chat could of been left out because it seemed to overtake the true plot of the story. I realize that it could of been added to represent the bond between parent and child but honestly I feel like the story was strong enough with out it. The book follows Isabel as she receives a text from a friend she had not seen in ages which read "I need you". Isabel then takes the train to Salten, a coastal village, where she attended boarding school to meet up with Fatima, Thea and Kate because some old bones have been found. I don't want to go into the story more as to not spoil the mystery but I do recommend the book.

Third Girl (Hercule Poirot #38) by Agatha Christie

This is the next book in the Hercule Poirot series and I really loved it. The third girl is the third girl to be a room mate to help pay the rent. In this book, Hercule Poirot is visited by a young lady that wants to know if she could get help to find out if she is a murderer but soon tells Hercule to forget it that he is too old. I just loved that part LOL! Hercule is never too old to solve the case. I highly recommend this book as well as the series.

The Clocks (Hercule Poirot #37) by Agatha Christie

This is the next book in the Hercule Poirot series. This is one of those stories where Hercule is instructing from the side lines. It all begins with a young lady stumbling over a dead man in a blind lady's house. I really enjoyed this tale but as always I wish Hercule was apart of the story more. I do highly recommend it though.
