I Was Born For This by Alice Oseman

As a fangirl for many fandoms, I really appreciated this book but I have to be honest and say that I did not realize that it would have such religious undertones. The story follows Angel and her obsession with a boy band called Ark. Her and her online friend Juliet meet up for the first time to go to the concert and let me just say that obsessions for anything are never good. I do not want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I will say that things are not always as they seem. I do recommend this book.

The Witch Of Willow Hall by Hester Fox

WoW! I just loved this story. It was very uniquely creative and kept true to the period. It follows Lydia, the middle sister of three, and her family as they are forced to move from Boston to a New Oldbury due to rumors and gossip regarding her and bizarre events surrounding her. As the family settles in Willow Hall, the strange occurrences follow and Lydia comes to realize that there is more to her than what she knows. I do not want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but I will say that this is a "Must Read" for the Autumn/Halloween season. It is full of ghosts, witchcraft, sibling rivalry, love and even death. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand

I need to say one thing first about this book... OMG I need MORE! You can't just end it like that OMG! This book is an amazing read! Very unique and creative. It follows 3 girls, Marion, Zoey & Val and all the monstrously thrilling things that happen on the island of Sawkill Rock. I do not want to go into the story as to not spoil it but let me just say that this is a "Must Read" for the Autumn/Halloween season. The characters have different story lines that come together in a most creepy way. I highly recommend the book!

What If It's Us by Becky Albertalli & Adam Silvera

(note... This book made it to my 2018 Favorites List)

This was one of my most anticipated book releases this year and OMG I just loved it and I knew I would because I really enjoy all of Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera's books. The story follows Arthur, a high school junior spending his summer in New York with his family and working an internship, and Ben who is a New York native that is spending his summer in summer school. These two meet by a chance encounter outside the post office and OMG the story is one you can not put down. I do not want to go into the story more to not spoil it for others but I will say that I really hope that one day we will be able to revisit these characters in another book *hint hint! I highly recommend it to everyone!

Dumb Witness (Hercule Poirot #16) by Agatha Christie

This is the 16th book in the Hercule Poirot series and OMG it is just as good as the other books. It follows Hercule Poirot as he gets a letter from a woman that was old and when he tries to contact her, he finds that she has died. So he is on the case to find out "who did it". This book has a very nice twist at the end that I found delightful. I highly recommend this book as well as the series.

This is definitely a "Must Read" book for Autumn/Halloween season! I just loved this story. It was unique and creative and I hope to see more like it. It follows Olly, a little girl that lost her father and have found an escape into books. One day she finds a woman in the woods crying over a book that she must destroy but instead Olly steals it from her and that is when the creepy stuff starts to happen. I do not want to go into the story more as to not spoil it but this book is so amazing I highly recommend it to everyone.

WoW! Ok let me be honest about this book. When I first received an ARC, I didn't want to read it because I knew it was going to scare me to death. OMG I am so glad I read this book. It was so awesome! I hope there is going to be another book! I need to know what happens next! The story follows a family. Suzette is the mom, Hannah is the daughter that hates her mom and the father works out of the home so he doesn't see Hannah's bizarre behavior. Let me be perfectly honest and say that this little girl needed a spanking from just about day one lol. No seriously, this little girl has a lot of mental issues and wants her mom dead so she can have daddy's full attention and all to herself. I am not going into the story more as to not spoil it but OMG this is a "Must Read" especially during the Autumn/Halloween season. It is really creepy but I highly recommend it to everyone.
